Every cyclist fights it, since drag increases with the square of speed. It is the primordial reason behind the never ending battle of riders and bike engineers trying to cheat mother nature. But we found a way:

Vmax - Maximum velocity:

The maximum rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate.

P2P - Position-to-Perform:

Providing riders with cockpit adjustability for creating sustainable aerodynamic positions. A slippery-fast frame is always a good start but adding a versatile, aerodynamic positioning system, breaks records. The Timemachine’s refined Position-to-Perform (p2p) system allows athletes to find their ideal contact points without sacrificing aerodynamics; no matter how aggressive or conservative the front-end or saddle position is.

subA - Integrated aerodynamics system:

Leading to optimum performance in any wind condition. SubA refers to the maximization of aerodynamic efficiency through minimizing exposure to wind. This is achieved through the optimization of three core features; aerodynamically optimized tube shapes, high levels of integration, and rider position-specific components.

Aerodynamic Design

Optimized aero designs and cable-component integration are key ingredients in making a bike aerodynamic, while the adjustability of bars, pads and saddle positions ensure that you maintain your position for the complete duration of your race.

Aerodynamisch optimierte Rohrformen

Aus der dreijährigen Zusammenarbeit mit Aerodynamik-Expert:innen entstand ein überarbeitetes SubA-Konzept, das die Aerodynamik-Vorteile auf den Punkt bringt: Rohrformen mit verkürztem Design, die weniger anfällig für Seitenwinde sind, und ein sehr schmales Stirnprofil.

Integration

Vollständige Integration aller Kabel, ein Rahmenkonzept, das den nötigen Stauraum gleich mitliefert, und unser Hinge Fork-Design (integrierte Bremsen) bilden eine perfekte Symbiose im Kampf gegen den Luftwiderstand.

Sitzposition

Tendenziell nehmen Athlet:innen auf längeren Distanzen oder wenn im Anschluss noch ein Lauf folgt aufrechtere Sitzpositionen ein. Egal wie lange die Radstrecke ist, mit dem V-Cockpit und dem Flat Cockpit wird die bestmögliche Aerodynamik erreicht – unabhängig vom Armpad.

We have gathered a list of the most frequent questions we get regarding Vmax.

P2P (Position to Perform) is a brand-new program focused on the individual needs of riders. Customers have the option to choose their favourite cockpit configuration on selected modules and complete bikes.

In selected modules, customer have the option to chose their preferred cockpit (style and fit) as well as seatpost offset. On selected complete bikes, customers can configure the cockpit size.

Topcones and spacer configurations are included in the shipment and automatically selected based on the stem or cockpit configuration.
